Ciao!
Oh yes, I have returned from Italy, but am now in San Francisco to begin my new life and law school. Let's get to the point though and recap the best part of my summer.
Upon leaving New York
I flew into Leonardo da Vinci airport in Rome. From there we take a bus into the city
Here we are
walking up some stairs into a piazza where we saw
the shewolf feeding Romulus and Remus.
Here are some shots of some ruins from the Roman Forum: .
We walked around a bit to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier .
Opposite that, in the main square was this
where you maybe can see a little balcony that was used by Mussolini. We then boarded the bus for dinner and a night tour including the gorgeous
Saint Peter's Basilica by night. By this time I was dead tired from being up all night and day traveling and exploring Rome, so it was bedtime, but an early wake up call tomorrow for a tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel! Stay tuned...
