Sign Me Up to Ride on The Jefferson Airplane

Virgin America Airlines christened their first airplane called Jefferson Airplane at SFO yesterday.

The airline, long in the works, is a licensing of Richard Branson's Virgin Atlantic Airways. Its first route will be between San Francisco and New York, to start early next year (if all goes according to plan). No word yet if in-flight meals will consist of two pills--one that makes you larger, one that makes you small...

Hah! I hope all goes according to plan because I'd be hopping on that plane ASAP to visit my friends back in New York (yes, I do still have them). I'm hoping for the pill that makes you smaller first so I can stretch out in the airplane seats, saving the pill that makes you larger till landing. Even my legs were right up against the seat back in front of me the last time I flew. Damn Northwest.
