Ho Haole, We Go North Shore
Must have been a haole who wrote this New York Times Travel article. Speaking as a kama'aina, the article is well and good, but she called the foreigners Howlie. Teehee. Also, she didn't mention Matsumoto's shave ice or Giovanni's shrimp truck. Major deductions for that. Did I mention that I miss the warmth of the ocean and sandy haired boys?

Hawaii's where I'm from! I plan on going back someday as you are correct the climate is MUCH more suitable than New York and it's my real home!
