Wine...

Went to Napa Valley, California yesterday for some wine tasting. Look at those beautiful wine grapes on the vineyards. Brought home a few bottles for myself, friends, and family. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the day was calm and relaxing. Even got to dine at the Culinary Institute of America again. Summer days are coming to the end, but I'm enjoying every last one of them.

On Friday the 13th I headed out to a party at a friend's house. While waiting to go inside, I snapped a bunch of pictures of this fire hydrant by itself and with myself in the photos. More at flickr.

Blossoms

So it's summertime, and the weather is as pleasant as it's going to get for SF, and I have the most beautiful humongous white roses in my house brightening up my days and making the whole house smell lovely, and I feel like everything is blossoming. More on this later. Today I will be making salmon and cupcakes! Perhaps photos later if my camera has recovered from having bacon grease splash on it last week. :/
